    RHRC is a collaborative organization that provides rental housing resources, support, and education to tenants, landlords, and service providers in Milwaukee.

    RHRC does not directly provide rental assistance but connects individuals with appropriate agencies such as SDC, Community Advocates, or IMPACT 211.

    We encourage contacting RHRC as early as possible for the best support options.

    If unresolved, RHRC can guide tenants on filing complaints with the Department of Neighborhood Services (DNS) or seeking legal assistance.

  8. Does RHRC provide legal representation?

    No, but RHRC works with partners like Legal Action of Wisconsin and the Eviction Defense Project to provide legal referrals and support.

  9. How can landlords benefit from RHRC?

    Landlords can receive mediation support, guidance on rental assistance programs, education on housing laws, and connections to community resources.
